- Directory Opus Magellan II
-
- DOpus PLUS Themes
-
-
- This folder contains three sub-directories, with example themes you
- can use with the new Magellan II theme system.
-
-
- The Amiga folder contains themes that have been specially designed
- for the Amiga by Opus 5 users. To use these themes you will need
- the ilbm datatype installed (most systems have this by default).
-
- The Windows folder contains themes designed for the Windows system.
- These have been downloaded from the Internet and extracted for your
- convenience, but in other respects have not been altered from their
- original states. To use these themes with Opus you will need jpeg,
- bmp and wav datatypes installed.
-
- The Windows-Converted folder contains Opus Magellan II-format theme
- files that have been converted from the supplied Windows themes.
- This is to save you having to run the ConvertTheme function
- yourself. The converted .theme files point to the original data files
- in the Windows sub-directory on the DOpus PLUS CD.
-
- To try one of the themes in the Amiga or Windows-Converted folders,
- select 'Load Theme...' from the Settings menu, and navigate to the
- appropriate location on the DOpus PLUS CD. Then, select the theme
- you want to load and the options you want to apply, and click the
- Ok button.
-
- If you like a theme and want to change your settings permanently,
- remember that you will need to save your environment. If you want
- to copy the theme files to your hard drive so you don't need to
- have the DOpus PLUS CD present all the time, use the 'Build Theme...'
- function from the Settings menu.
-
- The Index.html file in the Themes directory is an ImageMap of theme
- thumbnails. You can use this system to see the desktop picture of
- every theme on the CD. You can click on the thumbnail image to see
- the full sized picture, and you can click on label below the image
- to actually load the theme into Opus automatically.
-
- If you find the ImageMap system not functioning correctly, check
- that you have the following datatypes installed on your system: ILBM,
- JPEG (or JFIF), BMP. Also check that you have the following MIME types
- set up in your web browser:
-
- dopus/x-doplus;theme;ext;rx;"address 'DOPUS.1';'command LoadTheme %f AS AP AB AF'"
- image/x-iff;iff ilbm;int;;
- image/jpeg;jpg jpeg;int;;
- image/bmp;bmp;int;;
